Sanity is a Structured Content Platform that aims to help teams collaborate on digital content more effectively. Sanity sets out to redefine the CMS market by creating a product capable to quickly create custom interfaces and content workflows while enabling teams to distribute structured content from a single source of truth.
Sanity aims to build a complex product that is both simple and intuitive to use: its open-source editor allows developers to easily create custom interfaces. Its platform allows the rapid development of data-driven content applications, and its real-time API allows users to deliver content from a single source to any channel and device, and counts MIT, Burger King, Nike, National Geographic, and Conde Nast among its clients.
Substantial funding and a platform partnership with e-commerce giant Shopify have paved the way for Sanity's app on Shopify's commerce framework. Sanity is the first investment of this kind that Shopify has undertaken, exemplifying the former's go-to status as a CMS.
