Scribe

As a recent Masters Graduate, I had minimal experience in working at a startup. Both the CEO and CTO gave tasks that a fresh gradate would never get to do. Even more so that they guided me through each tasks and pushed me to grow. I also mentioned I was slightly interested in tech, and the CTO gave me mini-tasks to get some experiences in coding. The management here encourages growing and learning!

As a startup, everyone's opinion matters. The management team will always ask for our opinions on product, marketing and operational ideas. These discussions allow us to feel like we're contributing and because the team is small, we can see our own opinions being put into the product quite easily which is very rewarding.

At Scribe, everyone works in the same room and there are no closed doors. When impactful discussions are being made, everyone is involved and is allowed to contribute. The leadership team is also open to hear about any criticism we might have and takes our opinion into consideration.

I'm able to use many technologies I've never worked with before. Here, I started using Typescript for the first time, and I learnt how to connect to AWS services. I also have the opportunity to use regex to implement different solutions, and this has opened my mind.

I can see the impact of the code I write in the services Scribe offers. Every change I make serves to a purpose. The solutions we're building really help the clients to analyze the data they're interested in.

I have the opportunity to discuss different solutions with the team in order to find the one that is more efficient. Everyone is always listening to everyone's opinions, and we're open to new ways to organize the work.

Scribe is a platform based on research-based AI, and the technology behind it is cutting edge. Once you get the gist of how the platform is designed, working with it is easy and interesting.

The founders are always on top of things. They're really focused on what's best for the company and it's employees, other than the fact that their expertise in their respective fields is in-depth and extensive.

I've been working for Scribe for three months, mostly doing remote work. The communication with the founders is really good and it allows me to manage my working hours in the best way possibile in order to work effectively.
