The eCommerce industry has experienced exponential growth and now accounts for nearly 20% of global retail sales. Consumers have largely adopted online shopping habits that are expected to continue, and order fulfilment has become more complicated as a result. Scurri aims to relieve pressure from eCommerce businesses as the power shifts from merchants to suppliers and carriers.
The company provides a software solution to manage and optimise packaging and the dispatch and delivery of goods, track shipments, and provide analytics insights. Scurri has several big-name customers in the UK including Vision Direct, eBay and Gousto.
Although based in Ireland, Scurri generates about 70% of its revenue from the UK market. It expects to continue hiring talent in sales, marketing, tech development and customer support, and eventually grow its revenue in markets further afield.
