Our take
Sequra is a Barcelona-based FinTech company that provides digital flexible payment solutions, primarily in Southern Europe and Latin America. Its goal is to become the preferred payment platform for both merchants and consumers.
It currently has several thousands of merchants and offers all payment methods - ‘Pay Now’, ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ and ‘Pay in 3’. Unlike many other fintechs and payment start-ups, SeQura has proven to have a sustainable and profitable business model in the flexible payments space. It has grown at an average of 100% per year over the last five years.
It recently closed a funding round that will support the company’s international expansion across Southern Europe as well as the development of new, innovative payment solutions.
