Serve the community of hard-working, intelligent professionals that make auto repair possible.
As many of us know, getting a car repaired at a local shop can be a thing of mystery. Its unclear how mechanics reach the price of your repair and often you will not hear a peep until your car is done and the bill is handled to you. Part of the explanation for this is that these auto shops are often small businesses, unable or unwilling to invest in their customer service.
Shop-Ware therefore made a successful business out of providing SaaS to neighborhood automotive shops to digitize their operations. That doesn’t just mean providing a little more transparency for customers (although that remains a north star for the company). It also means staff-facing inventory, bookkeeping and workflow management.
The company is looking to use recent injections of capital to double down on growth. There are still many thousands of independent auto-repair shops for Shop-ware to service as well as the possibility of larger enterprise deals like one recently completed with Pronto.
The challenge for Shop-ware has always been demonstrating the value of its software to often traditionally organised independent shops. However, with its customer-base exploding, its services only become more reputable helping to win over even these most unmoving auto-shop managers.
