Sideways 6 was founded with the intention of allowing businesses to improve their operations by tapping into a previously underused resource: their own employees. It aims to give employees a platform to contribute their own ideas to the business they work for.
Sideways 6 allows staff to communicate directly with their businesses' decision-makers. This process not only makes employees feel more respected, engaged and empowered, it also gives business leaders access to a wealth of frontline experience and innovative ideas.
Sideways 6's platform works alongside companies' existing tools, and has a strong focus on collaboration. Staff can contribute ideas, big and small, via the easy-to-use platform, or via an online form or email. The solution is accessible, and appeals to businesses looking to stimulate growth and turnover through idea generation.
Sideways 6 obtained its first client, British Airways, in 2015. Since then, the company has grown considerably. Amongst its clients are big-name companies such as Nestlé, Walmart, and Centrica. In 2023, Sideways 6 was acquired by Interact, a leading intranet solution provider for enterprise businesses. This will enable Sideways 6 to utilise Interact's North American reach and client base with its increasingly in-demand product.

(Founder & CEO)Studied at the Saïd Business School at Oxford, and obtained a masters from Sheffield. Worked as an Operations Manager and then as a Consultant for Sky. Founded Edifeye in 2012 before launching Sideways 6 in 2014.

Sideways 6's value of Always Be Learning is very true to form. Within my first few months, I was able to use my learning budget for the TechNation Scaling Leaders course. I also love our fortnightly Lunch and Learns where I've learned about everything from "Famous songs that are actually covers" to "Atomic Design"
