Our take
Sitka is a telehealth platform that connects primary care providers to specialists in various medical fields. The app makes it possible for primary care providers to request video consultations from a network of specialists, which can then contribute to patient diagnosis and care.
Speed is a key selling point. Sitka's powerful ecosystem makes it possible for specialty referrals to be completed in less than 24 hours. In fact, most consultations with the platform will be returned within five hours. This rapidity of turnaround can have a hugely positive impact on medical outcomes, and reduce unnecessary tests and procedures.
Sitka has picked up significant investment as interest in the digital health space increases, and have secured national healthcare partnerships with healthcare systems and primary care providers, including ChenMed, a primary care group, and Medicare Advantage plan.
