To help everyone design incredible things.
-23% employee growth in 12 months
Sketch is a digital design company that is comprised of two apps, a native Mac app for designing, and a web app for sharing, feedback, and developer handoff. Being a Mac native app means two things - the first being that all optimisation and innovation efforts can be focused on one single operating system, and the second being that Windows users are unable to utilise the company’s design tool (though they are able to access the web-based features).
The company faced certain challenges in late 2022 in the process of refocusing the company as a response to changing market conditions, with Sketch deciding to move forward with a smaller team. However, the company has doubled down on its efforts to focus on providing the best product experience for users. Sketch certainly has a number of growth opportunities ahead, as it continues to build and expand its capabilities.

There is no middle-management layer at all in the company, just a straight line from the C-level to everyone else. This is really a very rare thing to see in tech.

Thanks to the flat hierarchy and self-management philosophy, Sketch really functions under the principle of "hire smart people and get out of their way". These are some of the most talented and capable people I've worked with.
