Our take

The Skupos platform brings brands and convenience store owners together in a mutually beneficial relationship. Getting special offers into stores can be time consuming and logistically complicated, often with low take up from busy stores. Skupos has created a system that makes this easy, with offers automatically applied in-store, and valuable data gathered automatically that stores are then remunerated for. While other systems such as Kalibrate and mParticle can gather and analyse data, Skupos offers something different with its ability to generate income.

What makes this system attractive is that it’s easy to set up and once integrated with a POS system, everything is automatically processed and logged so there’s no extra work for shop staff. Skupos has rolled out to thousands of store across 50 states, recording billions of transactions for analysis. Looking to the future, Skupos will use funds raised to scale its product suite, expand and go to market, while maintaining its focus on customer success and support.
