To make social content creation effortless for brands.
31% employee growth in 12 months
Slate allows brands to speed up social media content publishing by creating on-brand content in real time on its mobile app, which then posts directly to their social channels. While it's far from the first content creation platform, Slate's initial focus on the sports media industry set it up to be the expansive platform it is today.
The company has amassed a seriously impressive customer base of over 200 brands across a range of industries worldwide. This includes , the NFL, VISA, Nickelodeon, Budweiser, and more.
It makes sense that Slate has attracted such clients. Co-founder and President Eric Stark was the Director of International Marketing & Content Strategy for the National Football League (NFL), while CEO Michael Horton worked in the San Francisco 49ers Video & Marketing department.
Slate completed an impressive funding round in early 2023, adding $5.5 Million to its seed funding. With such strong support from sports franchises and multi-billion dollar networks, Slate is well-positioned to maintain its position as a market leader that it so quickly achieved.
