Our take
Slide, an engagement app designed to enhance virtual meetings, is setting out to reshape the realm of participant-host interactions. Slido stands out through its ease of use - the setup for hosts takes a few minutes and the attendees can join without downloading an additional plugin. Moreover, the company aims to use upselling techniques in order to increase its customer base by offering a free plan and convincing users to upgrade their plan in order to access additional features.
Slido can be used with various video conferencing software solutions, such as Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams. The company has over 750k customers worldwide and was recently acquired by Cisco.
