Our take

Vacation rental management platform Smily (formerly known as BookingSync) is a cloud-based system that provides hosts, owners, managers, and agencies with increased advertising promotion capabilities, automatically listing properties on over 1,000 websites. The company’s automated system manages marketing, guest communication, payments, and booking processes for a range of property types.

While the vacation rental platforms market has seen a rising number of players, Smily has excelled in the space, holding several impressive certified partner rankings – including being one of Expedia’s 11 “Elite” partners, and one of 14 “Excellent” AirBNB partners. In 2021. the company also received the Booking.com “Best Overall Performing Provider” award and was named the “Best Technical Platform In The World” across all accommodation platforms.

The company has several advantageous partnerships, including with Maeva and Holidu, and has generated more than €1 billion in business volume. Its easy-to-use software has Smily well-set to achieve further market dominance and expansion.
