Company mission

To connect people and companies with social enterprises.

B Corporation

Our take

The Social Supermarket is an eCommerce and corporate gifting start-up where every product on the site comes from an independent UK brand that strives for social impact. For this reason, every purchase engenders a positive ripple effect of change.

Founded due to a frustration with the pace of change in the charity sector, Social Supermarket has quickly garnered partnerships with upwards of 100 social enterprise brands with thousands of available products that have social impact. One such example being bags and wallets made from old fire hoses which would otherwise go to landfill. Its focus on enabling societal change whilst being a carbon neutral company meant the company achieved B Corporation status.

The company has been recommended by top UK outlets from The Guardian to The Times and has partnered with Good Market, Social Enterprise UK and Escape 100. Moving forward, the company will continue to grow its profile whilst finding more innovative brands to partner with.
