To democratize engineering genius and empower 99% of the world, who can't code, to create custom apps for their business or life.

Our take

Softr is part of a growing trend: no-code tools that let anyone build apps without the need for a developer. With small businesses typically facing tighter budgets and a shortage of tech talent, tools like Softr are helping non-technical teams (think HR and marketing) build internal tools and client portals quickly and affordably.

Originally built to work with Airtable, Softr now supports a wide range of data sources like Google Sheets, Notion, and SQL databases. And its drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to build apps using blocks for forms, tables, charts, and more.

Since founding in 2020, the company has grown to over 600,000 users and 5,000 paying customers, all without a sales team. And following a funding round back in 2022, the company is almost profitable. With new features like built-in tables and workflows coming soon, Softr is gearing up for even more success.
