Solana Foundation is like the cheerleader for the Solana Network. It is committed to growing the community that pillars Solana Labs (blockchain and crypto development platform). Solana Foundation also wants to push blockchain's growth for it to become self-perpetuating.
The Foundation believes the Solana protocol can be the most censorship resistant network in the world. Everyone within the Solana network has equal access to all information in the blockchain ledger, an inviting idea where everyone is on a level playing field. Proving Solana’s mission really is to grow and empower blockchain usage.
The collapse of FTX crypto-exchange put Solana under the spotlight - founder Anatoly Yakovenko said the company didn't hold any assets on FTX, but this highlights the risk of operating in this volatile a market. However, Solana will hope to continue its growth while avoiding any dangers from the wider industry issues.
