Reduced availability of commodities such as oil has made its trading increasingly lucrative, but the technology that powers the industry has remained stagnant over the last few decades. Automation, analytics, machine learning, and AI can all be leveraged to optimize trading and increase profits for traders, yet existing commodity trading platforms do not generally provide such functionalities.
Sparta Commodities provides a data-driven commodity trading insight platform, empowering users to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to gain a competitive edge within the industry. The platform includes a variety of dashboards and tools for enhanced oil price discovery, data sharing, and data analysis, in addition to a suite of tools that automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks.
Whilst access to the trading of commodities has dramatically increased in the last decade due to consumer-grade trading platforms and AI-driven robo-advisors, the oil trading industry has been neglected by such innovations. Sparta Commodities has been wise to fill this gap, providing oil traders with the AI and automation-driven tools necessary to maximize data, optimize price discovery, and ultimately boost revenue. Off the back of its $17.5 million series A funding in 2023, Sparta is increasing its customisation and developing a suite of AI tools.

Ever since I joined sparta I have have had the opportunity to greatly affect the work we do here. I was able to propose process changes to the product team and CEO and they were not only heard but applied.
