Our take
Spectarium is a Finnish gaming studio that has been quietly building something ambitious since 2019. Founded by developers with experience at companies including EA, Epic Games, Riot Games and Square Enix, the team focuses on creating action RPGs that put gameplay first while using new technology to make every adventure feel unique.
At the centre of the studio is MYTHS, a cross-platform, mobile-first action RPG inspired by ancient mythology. Players team up to explore dungeons, defeat powerful bosses and collect loot, with characters and equipment gaining abilities from fallen enemies, The game recently received a major boost through a partnership with Mythical Games, making MYTHS the first third-party title to join the Mythical Marketplace ahead of its planned 2026 soft launch.
With MYTHS leading the way and companion project Mintarium also in development, Spectarium has laid the foundations for a much bigger gaming universe. After years of building behind the scenes, and €5M in seed funding, the studio is finally stepping into the spotlight and looks well placed to become a standout name in the next generation of cross-platform gaming.

(Co-Founder & CPO)Co-founder and current Creative Director of JANEIOUS. Before this, they were the Founder and CEO at VisionaryX. They also served as a Senior Project Lead at Zeitland Media & Games, as well as a teaching role as a Lecturer at Macromedia Executive School.
Avraham Shalel
(Co-Founder)In addition to co-founding Spectarium, they are also an investor in the company. Prior to this, they co-founded Plarium and served as its CEO for 9 years.
Gabi Shalel
(Co-Founder)Also an investor in Spectarium. They also co-founded Plarium and served as its CMO until the end of 2020.
