Stakester

Stakester is remote-first, so you can come into the office as much or as little as you like. I still come in most days though, because I enjoy socialising, and it's a fun office! We can work from anywhere we want though, and choose when we work too - as long as we're present for important meetings.

Anyone can come to senior management with an idea and be allowed to pitch, then if it's good they'll be allowed to undertake it and get funding for it - just recently a junior designer pitched and ran her own competition and event, with Stakester's funding.

It's a long list! "Open bar" at the cafe down the road, free smart watch, unlimited holiday, 100% employer contribution for pension, health & dental insurance, £30/month Heka credit, free access to Spill (mental health support & therapy), pool table & arcade machine in the office, snack drawer, etc.

Stakester has a generous budget for learning and development, which has allowed me to complete some an amazing HR course and improve my skills. They are happy for people to branch out and learn about new environments while ensuring that you are both challenged and supported.

Whether it is your first day as an intern or you're a member of the leadership team, your opinion is always heard and valued. 360 feedback is encouraged and everyone is always given the opportunity to ask questions and allow their opinions to be heard.

Stakester understands that everyone who works here is an individual and different ways of working work for different people. Whether you'd like to work completely remotely, completely in the office, or a mix of both, is entirely up to you and will never be questioned. While a majority of the staff have gravitated towards a Monday-Friday/ 09:00-17:00 schedule, there is absolutely no pressure to work like that. As long as the job is getting done, you are free to work when you feel most productive.

Straight away Stakester made me feel part of the team. The flexible working and company perks are fantastic, but the best bit for me is the 'back yourself' mentality. There's so much energy in the office, and you get the feeling that hard work really does pay off. I've not been here long, but I can already see a career path that will keep me here long term developing - and I know that if I push myself and back myself, Stakester will do everything they can to support me too.

The energy at Stakester is through the roof! There is so much talent and enthusiasm here, it makes for such a lively work environment. Whenever I find something interesting in my work and present it back to the company, everyone is quick to build on it and act on it - it really keeps me on my toes and makes me stay ahead of the game.

The team at Stakester is outcome driven - so it doesn't matter when I work or where I work so long as I get the work done. This gives me so much autonomy and it is empowering to know I'm trusted to deliver important outcomes without someone checking over my shoulder all day every day.
