Our take
StormForge specialises in cloud-based resource optimization and performance testing. The company takes the trial and error out of cloud-native application configuration and make it easier to be efficient without needing a huge amount of expert knowledge.
There is some competition in this area with the likes of Microfocus, Lumigo and Jigsaw Academy. StormForge has some unique features such as guided set-up walkthroughs for experiments, and the ability to automatically generate optimization experiments. These features make StormForge accessible and can increase speed of deployment compared to rivals.
A StormForge survey revealing that more than $17 billion is wasted every year with cloud resources that are unused or sat idle. With its system, based on machine learning and synthetic intelligence, accuracy of cloud resources needed can be assessed, and wastage can be reduced, ultimately saving money and resources.
