Our take
Subspace is as a real-time content delivery network. In essence, it has created its own real-time mapping of Internet traffic and conditions, similar to the way Waze maps traffic on roads and highways. Subspace’s network platform deploys, operates, and AI optimises & scales the highest performing proxy services for a real-time application. And it requires no end-user hardware or configuration changes, as it is implemented via a simple configuration to proxy traffic to Subspace.
They are backed by top Silicon Valley VCs and run by former executives from tech companies including Riot Games, SpaceX, Google, Facebook, as well as leading Telecom companies.
One of the biggest use cases for the Subspace community is that of gaming, an industry that is in its roots. But beyond its technical support, Subspace is also helping some of the more traditional telcos through the gaming revolution and the cultural shift that needs to occur.
