Our take

One of the downsides of owning property is the effort and time required to deal with repairs and maintenance. Providers and contractors are typically fragmented, hyper-localised and offline-only.

Super is a subscription based marketplace that provides maintenance and repairs for electrical and mechanical systems, appliances and plumbing for a monthly fee. It's framed as a home-warranty-by-subscription, allowing owners to keep their homes working and save time in the process.

Its developed a set of AI algorithms that help to price services, as well as match consumers with local contractors for quick service. The business has raised over $70m in the past few years, underpinned by strong demand in the proptech sector.
