Our take
SupplyCompass is a product development and production management platform that enables fashion brands and manufacturers to produce better, together. Their cloud-based software aims to transform the fashion industry by digitising global supply chains and making sustainable sourcing easy and cost-effective for brands and every player in the supply chain.
The company was founded in 2016 and aims to enable brands to manage the entire product development, sourcing and production process from design right through to delivery, all in one place. They claim to be able to reduce the time from design to delivery by 50% and also save up to 45% on production costs. Since the company’s inception, over 1 million products have been made with its mediation.
In the past few years, SupplyCompass has built a network of over 200 supply chain partners, visiting, vetting and handpicking only the best manufacturers, mills and suppliers to join. The majority of their network is in India, with some strategically placed partners in Portugal, Nepal, China and Spain. In 2021 they expanded their operations in India. They've been successful in raising capital, and have signed an impressive array of global brands, include Morville Beachwear, Hip & Healthy, and Ethcs.
