Switchd is a data-driven platform offering two services - Switchd and MakeMyHouseGreen, both of which analyse and compare prices, energy readings, and domestic appliances to help homeowners save money on their energy, whilst also reducing their carbon footprint. Switchd focuses on energy supply switching services and green tariffs, whilst MakeMyHouseGreen helps homeowners source and install domestic renewable energy supplies.
With the double whammy of NetZero emission targets and inflation hitting the UK in recent years, Switchd has found the perfect balance of services for consumers, bridging the gap between the two with its distinct product offers.
Melding smart data with practical green solutions has served Switchd well, and resulted in it securing investment from Turquoise, a UK merchant bank that specialises in energy and the environment. As a growing wave of eco-consciousness continues to sweep through consumers, it is likely the company will have the chance for further growth in the future.
