Tagboard was borne out of the recognition that engagement happens in real-time on social media and that producers of live content needed a platform to interact with that massive online audience.
As a result they have built an intuitive cloud production platform that has especially helped analog entertainment channels like live sports broadcasters engage viewers across social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit.
They face significant competition from these social-media companies that increasingly see their user-generated content as assets that can drive revenue through easily embedded APIs.
While Tagboard previously made a name for itself simply by aggregating content from multiple social media platforms around hashtags they are now looking to face-off this threat with the creation of new innovative products like Tagboard Interactive.
