To create an intuitive tool for self-directed traders and investors, combining a trading terminal with user-generated content.
In the US stock market, a huge amount of trading activity comes from amateur traders, and recent years have seen people flock to investing in droves. But entering the market can prove difficult or even overwhelming, with the space dominated by misleading advertisements, aggressive sales tactics, and analytic buzzwords. TakeProfit is building a community-led trading platform to help new investors see through the noise and access honest recommendations to make the most of their money.
There is no shortage of applications available for amateur investors, with numbers rising in response to the recent boom in interest. TakeProfit, however, claims uniqueness in a collaborative user-first approach. As well as facilitating sharing of opinions, experiences and analysis, the company plans to offer monetization opportunities which should entice more experienced traders to contribute. In this way, the amateurs on the platform will have access to higher-level insights and a head start in their investments.
TakeProfit has secured significant funding to help build and launch its product, driving towards its goal of an intuitive tool that combines a trading terminal with user-generated content.
