Our take

The rapid pivot to eCommerce over recent years, combined with a boom in online multi-channel shopping and eCommerce brands, has cranked up the pressure on content production teams responsible for product info and descriptions. Talkoot’s solution for overworked content teams is an AI content-generation software, which also features a host of content and project information management (PIM) tools including multi-language localization and configurable workflows.

AI content production is becoming increasingly mainstream, meaning that it’s become the sole focus of many competitors - Jasper, Copysmith, and Ryter to name a few. So, by expanding beyond AI content into PIM software, Talkoot’s product becomes more competitive, and relatively unique. That's because, even if rival PIM software companies like Pimberly are incorporating AI into their platforms, they're not doing so as a content creation tool.

So, Talkoot have been smart in securing a fairly unique foothold in a growing and competitive market. Plus, many are crediting the PIM market boom to the increased leveraging of AI, so Talkoot’s gamble was one that put the company on the right side of progress.
