In 2025, it was announced that Teads had been acquired by Outbrain for $1 billion. This represents a significant step up for the two companies, which, combined, make the largest open internet business in the world. With an expanded reach of 2.2 billion customers, Teads and Outbrain will merge two of the richest contextual and interest data sets on the open internet.
