Our take
Tech Nation was originally founded to support the tech cluster in East London, and has since evolved to now service hundreds more companies. Of those that have successfully graduated from its growth programmes, major names include Skyscanner, Deliveroo, and Monzo.
Tech Nation provides businesses with the coaching, content, and community they need for their journey in designing the future and scaling, both at home and abroad. It wants to empower ambitious tech entrepreneurs through growth programmes, and by championing the UK’s digital sector through data-driven reports and campaigns.
Their goal is to unlock the growth potential of 1,000 scaling tech businesses in the upcoming year to releasing $1bn of value to the UK economy.

Leadership
Gerard Grech
(CEO)Previously had a long career in telecoms, where most recently he was Senior Global Director of Marketing at Blackberry. Also sits on the Board of Innovate UK, Barbican Centre and is a Member of the Digital Europe Board for the World Economic Forum.
