As remote work becomes more popular, companies are facing the challenge of fostering effective collaboration among their dispersed teams. Stockholm-based Teemyco has taken on this challenge with a virtual office platform, designed to transform the remote working experience.
The platform creates virtual office spaces, where employees can work in virtual rooms among their co-workers. The absence of the need for special links or complex scheduling makes it easier for co-workers to engage in ad-hoc discussions via voice and video technology. This new approach aims to bridge the gap between the isolation of remote work and the spontaneous interactions that occur naturally in a traditional office environment, giving it a clear edge against other workplace communication tools such as Slack and Zoom.
Teemyco has attracted a significant degree of investment funding. This, along with strategic partnerships with companies such as remote work outsourcing startup INSIDEA, will allow it to expand its product offering and grow its marketing reach. Going forward it is extremely well placed to take advantage of the growing trend for remote and hybrid workplaces, and to help reconnect the increasing portion of the workforce that is working from home.
