Company mission

The Joy Club is an online activity club that is on a mission to enable its members to enjoy a more active, connected and joyful retirement.

Our take

For many people, retirement can be a difficult, expensive and lonely experience. The Joy Club is setting out to change this norm by ensuring its members have access to an active and fulfilling retirement.

The Joy Club works by connecting retirees to online activities and courses, such as fitness programs and creative workshops. The company appeals in particular to retirees who don't have access to expensive travel or in-person activities. They have been featured by publications such as the BBC and Sky News, which has enabled it to better connect with its target audience, and to scale its customer base.

The Joy Club is currently focused on bringing more out-of-home activities to its users, and expanding the range of courses on offer. This will ensure that The Joy Club not only attracts new customers, but also holds onto its current users.
