In a world where everything is being made easier, it’s not hard to become complacent or potentially lazy. Tech of all kinds is making life that little bit simpler and binge culture is at an all time high, while getting outside and exploring often falls by the wayside.
Aptly named “The Nudge” is a company that does what it says on the tin, sending text notifications (nudges) to users to get out and explore what’s going on around them. Initially delivering simple nudges for music and fitness activities, it has expanded into more specific nudges like “The Ally Nudge”, which promotes activities that support the Black community.
Initial funding has allowed the company to establish itself, and its tactful approach to promotion has attracted over 100,000 members. Long term plans for the company include offering booking services for the activities it promotes. It will be exciting to see how The Nudge continues to grow and further enhance its product as time goes on.
