Wonki Collective’s B2B SaaS platform remedies this by helping manufacturers manage their surplus stock, ensuring that high-quality ingredients remain in the food supply chain.
The Wonki Collective’s API platform automatically analyses connected food suppliers and manufacturers for wasted resources, use-by dates and the necessary health and safety documentation. It then processes this information and uses a matchmaking tool to discover the best channels for the reselling, reusing and redistribution of unused and waste materials.
Though a small and young company, The Wonki Collective has discovered a glaring hole in a market desperately requiring a shake-up. If Wonki Collective were to see widespread national adoption, the positive environmental impact could be massive.
