Thrive's mission is to help businesses be more data-driven in their people decisions, whilst at the same time providing a fair and ethical process for candidates and employees.
Hiring the wrong candidate can be a time-consuming and highly expensive mistake, something that often cannot be recognised until the candidate has already been employed. Whilst various startups offer data-driven recruitment platforms to help HR teams make targeted staffing hires, these often still follow uniform approaches to recruitment automation, potentially leading to more problems than they solve.
Thrive develops bespoke psychometric tests for employers to use within the hiring process, offering role-specific assessments to help employers identify risks and strengths within certain skill sets. Each candidate will be ranked based on the skills needed for the job and their potential risk, helping to inform hiring decisions without resorting to “one size fits all” approaches.
The biggest obstacle Thrive faces will be the many other data-driven recruitment platforms on the market, although the company shows great potential to compete with its unique focus on psychometric assessment. The company claims that this data-driven approach can help businesses save up to £50,000 per unsuccessful hire, minimise recruitment time, and help SMEs scale through targeted and frictionless hires.
