Though companies such as Ticketmaster have a monopoly on the events tickets sales platform market, companies such as TixTrack are making inroads in the industry and putting pressure on larger monopolies. Tixtrack’s two flagship products are Niven, designed for the reserved seating industry in live entertainment, and Ticketure, focused on the arts, museums, and attractions industries where general and timed admission tickets are commonplace.
Both products of TixTrack are mobile-first, and TixTrack’s focus on general and timed admission events and cultural hubs separates it from the large competitor Ticketmaster. With technology that enhances companies’ User Interfaces as well as Advanced Analytics tools for venues, TixTrack has bagged big-name clients such as the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, which has used TixTrack to upgrade its ticketing systems.
The Nederlander Organisation purchased TixTrack in 2022 and is known for its BroadwayDirect platform that promotes Broadway shows. The purchase by Nederlander provides TixTrack with a considerable advantage in the high-revenue Broadway market against Ticketmaster, and will no doubt aid its growth in other markets too.
