To get more fans to events they love while driving the industry to be fair, accessible, and transparent.
Tixel have built an event marketplace on which users are able to buy and sell event tickets. The goal is to get more fans get to their favourite events without having to spend a fortune to do so, ultimately trying to make a fairer and more accessible industry.
One issue with this sort of service is the risk of being scammed. Tixel recently launched a feature called Ticket Sheriff, protecting customers from scamming or being overcharged. Users can enter the ticket seller’s username and are served their selling history, enabling them to suss out whether or not their selling past is dodgy.
After largely fuelling its own growth via service fees, Tixel has recently received capital from investors in the music business, including Alberts. Whilst much of Tixel’s users currently exist in Australia and New Zealand, the company will invest in expanding its footprint in the U.K and U.S markets.
