Toggle's mission is to democratize access to data-driven investment insights.
The number of retail investors has ballooned over recent years, thanks in large to disruptors like Betterment and Robinhood opening up market access to smaller players. Toggle is one of a handful of companies trying to do the same with investment analysis, helping retail investors access high-grade insights through their platform - described as the “Bloomberg terminal for retail investors”.
Toggle's SaaS platform algorithmically processes millions of data points to produce actionable insights on entry, management, and exit for its users. The ability to leverage big data is crucial to effective portfolio management, and has historically been preserved for professional, well-resourced firms. So Toggle are offering a genuine value proposition that is likely to prove attractive to the growing number of retail investors.
The obvious gap in the market for retail-investor oriented intelligence tools has, however, attracted a number of competing startups. Sentifi expanded their institutional investor tools recently to offer a similar platform for retail investors, and Quant Insight are doing the same - and launching expansion efforts into Europe and the Middle East. With retail investment poised for more participation and disruption in the coming years, Toggle are getting in early on an exciting and challenging market.
