Trading.TV's mission is to empower anyone to achieve financial freedom by merging entertainment and fintech into a simple, but powerful social experience.
Over the past few years the retail trading market ballooned. Couple that with the surge in demand for social media engagement, and you have the formula that led to the creation of Trading.TV: a streaming, trading, and social media platform targeting young traders. Users can additionally buy or sell shares straight from a content creator’s page, with plans to extend this to crypto and NFTs in future.
The remarkable success of content creator and social sites like Substack and Twitch has led to the model being carried over to more niche areas like food (Mustard and Whisk) and fitness (Star Trainers). As of yet, however, Trading.TV is the first site to bring this tried-and-tested model to retail trading. So Trading.TV is a unique company following a strong precedent.
Similarly, whilst trading is a notoriously volatile sector, this emphasis on content creation means the success of Trading.TV isn’t pegged so firmly to the health of trading at large. This insulation will help Trading.TV capitalize on the buzz without opening itself up to market vulnerabilities.
