Our take

Pet wellness startup Tuggs creates sustainable, freshly prepared dog food. As the first UK company to create fresh, insect-based dog food, it's hoping to revolutionise the sustainable pet food market.

Primarily an online subscription-based platform, Tuggs creates personalised monthly health plans for pets. It develops these from its proprietary algorithm, enabling owners to provide their dogs with tailor-made meals to keep them healthy and help them hit and maintain an ideal weight.

Having completed a seed funding round in 2024, Tuggs is well set to see continued growth.
