Uizard's mission is to democratize design to empower non-designers everywhere to build digital, interactive products.
A few times over the last decade, we’ve heard of apps emerging that can convert the melodies we hum into real music on any instrument. It’s a great idea, it’s fun, but the issue is that it doesn’t have much enterprise scope.
Well, Uizard is doing something comparable for design, but in this case the payout could be huge. In theory, any non-designer can leverage the tool’s AI to convert hand drawn design sketches into real wireframes and user interfaces – source code included.
The idea is pretty brilliant, and could be ideal for product managers, creatives, and indeed startup founders who are unable to design or write code.
Though founded in 2017, Uizard has taken the time refining its product, only emerging from a private beta in 2021. Now, however, the company has secured major funding and looks set to expand significantly.
