Our take
Untapped (formerly Canvas) is a diversity recruitment platform which allows companies to source talent from under-represented communities. The platform serves both candidates and companies, who can host diversity community events, post jobs, search for and get matched with talent as well as measure their returns on these recruiting initiatives.
While improved diversity in the corporate world, and in the tech industry especially, has long been promised, many investors are now starting to hold the companies they fund accountable for their actions. Diversity recruitment platforms could well become commonplace among big companies in the near future, so Untapped has positioned itself strongly in a niche that the company itself is helping to create.
Untapped already counts prestigious companies such as Google, Twitch, Stripe, Roblox, Bloomberg and Zoom amongst its customers.
