Untied's mission is to build a better way to do your taxes.
Our take
untied is a personal tax app working with banks, accounting firms, gig-economy platforms and HMRC. The app lets users connect their bank accounts, make tax sense of their transactions, get tax insights that save them money, and automate and submit their tax return.
Founded by payment and automation experts and supported by Barclays, Techstars and Accenture’s Fintech Innovation Lab, it has broken the mould to make taxes simple. The company wants to make taxes easy and accessible, using technology and automation to help people follow the rules and reduce the tax they pay. untied partners with other companies, such as Deliveroo, superscript and wrkit, to help their communities save time, money and stress when sorting their taxes.
untied is focusing on expanding its senior team to further innovation in its technology. In particular, this includes activity around untied’s adviser platform and Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, which untied is rolling out as part of HMRC’s pilot.
