Company mission

Uptime's mission is to build a platform that makes knowledge accessible, affordable, and fun, while also being free from negativity, doom-scrolling and advertising.

Our take

The internet is a seemingly endless source of information, providing endless resources for education and self-improvement. However, many of these resources such as documentaries, eBooks, and courses require hours of attention, and this raises the question of whether one could refine the way that we learn certain information.

Uptime provides a platform for microlearning, a process in which the company extracts information from documentaries, courses, and books and presents them as short pieces of educational content. These self-claimed “knowledge hacks” are presented as freebies to users of the app, with the full content being suggested for purchase at the end of the content.

Considering how day-to-day life is becoming increasingly on demand and optimized, Uptime has taken a similar approach to online education by preserving information whilst reducing the time it takes to learn it. The platform also provides a unique platform for educational content creators to showcase their products.
