The food-ordering and delivery sector has been transformed in recent years. For example, driven by events in recent years and the growth of delivery apps, the US market alone grew by almost $20 billion in the last decade. At the head of this market are household names like Deliveroo and Just Eat. Working on a marketplace model, such apps are great for large, established food chains. But there's a problem: for smaller restaurants, the cost of being listed on such apps makes a huge dent in profitability, sometimes as high as 30%, which many businesses struggle to manage. This leaves them at big risk of being left behind.

A 'best of both worlds' solution, its software enables restaurants to manage their own deliveries ordinarily, whilst also allowing them to access other marketplace apps' delivery teams when things get busy. Putting control into the hands of restaurants themselves, this allows restaurants to retain more profitability on each order and keep ownership of their customer bases.
VROMO has offices in Dublin, New York and Waterford, with thousands (and counting) of restaurant partners across 5 continents. It also has partnerships with big industry players like Doordash and Deliveroo. These factors together have generated a lot of investor interest, and following big Series A funding VROMO is focused on growth, especially in the UK and US markets.
