Our take
Valamis was founded in 2003 and, like most tech start-ups, it took a few years to begin finding its feet. It wasn't until the late 2000s that it began developing its signature learning platform for employees of businesses. Technology has caught up with Valamis’s cloud-based learning solution product and it is now used across the world by a diverse array of companies, such as air conditioning manufacturer Vaillant Group, non-profit Idewe, and software consultants Helmes.
The diversity of its clients speaks to the scalability and flexibility of Valamis’s learning tools. Unlike other learning platforms such as CrossKnowledge and IHasco, Valamis integrate data science and artificial intelligence into its products to personalise employee training and education.
This key feature is a powerful one and in 2021, led to Valmis's acquisition by international equity firm Adelis. Adelis will hopefully help the early leader in learning platform tech expand its reach to a global, rather than European, marketplace.
