40% of apparel items bought online are returned to the retailer. A major cause of this astonishingly high number is that they simply don’t fit properly. It's an inefficiency that not only results in major financial cost to the retailer but also damages the environment.
Vestico hopes to resolve this issue through improved representation. Their technology shows shoppers how people with similar body measurements look in what they want to buy.
Crucially, the startup does this through combining the authenticity of user-generated content with sizing AI.
The company is now focused on bringing their innovation into the online beauty market as well as expanding globally.
