Vetted's mission is to make savvy shopping simple through its AI-powered product research engine that automates and enhances the shopping experiences of its users.
Despite eCommerce thriving across marketplace giants and independent online stores, purchasing high-quality and fairly priced products online is still difficult. Sponsored advertisements take priority over products backed up by user-generated reviews, and this makes it difficult to discover products that customers are truly satisfied with.
Vetted provides a product search engine that leverages AI to scrape, aggregate, and analyze data about products, from their price history and average reviews to cheaper products and higher-rated alternatives. The website simply prompts users to search for the item they are looking for, showing results that can be sorted by price, rating, brand, and other parameters.
Whilst the company will face huge competition from search engine giants such as Google and Bing, Vetted shows potential to disrupt the product search engine market by partnering with all listed products and ranking them, thus removing the bias usually found on sponsored product search engines. The company also allows its users to compare products off-site through its Chrome browser extension, in addition to signing up for discounts and deals. The launch of a mobile app at the end of 2023 will enable Vetted to reach new markets and customers.
