Company mission

To make account-to-account payments the preferred way to pay and get paid.

Our take

There has been, in recent years, rapid acceleration of digital payments, a huge growth in social commerce, and a renewed focus from consumers in wanting to support SMEs and buy from people they know. Lots of VibePay’s small business customers are people selling on Instagram, other social media sellers on platforms such as Shopify and Wix, and gamers using streaming services like StreamElements.

VibePay has evolved and responded to this demand by launching new products, such as a dashboard, securing new partnerships with Shopify and Wix, and becoming the first Open Banking-powered platform in Europe to provide account-to-account checkout solutions for consumers and merchants. Its subscriptions API is particularly unique, allowing users to see, monitor, and permit standing orders through an app. This gives consumers more financial control, and businesses can make significant savings on those payments.

China and the US have been leading the way with WeChat and CashApp, yet consumers in Europe are still using outdated methods of logging into multiple accounts to view balances and make transactions. VibePay is Europe’s answer to this. With strong pedigree and a carved out space in a fairly untapped market, there is much promise.
