Videowise's mission is to help Shopify brands sell more with videos on their online store.
Video marketing is altogether not a new service. In fact, it constitutes a majority of online marketing campaigns. However, it occurred to a regular Shopify customer that embedding these videos at the point of shopping could serve to paint a picture for the customer. What this results in is increased sales for the seller, and thus VideoWise was born.
VideoWise provides solutions to allow its customer brands to embed videos from popular platforms - YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, etc. on their product pages. The company claims this is more than a last ditch attempt at marketing but is rather an opportunity to provide potential customers with even more product insight - think unboxing videos, reviews, or even product modelling. It's solutions are specifically for the Shopify platform where over 11% of e-commerce activities currently take place.
VideoWise is currently backed by big names with success in companies like Meta, Uber and Google. The company's year-on-year growth has been impressive so far but it will need a burst of novelty - such as launching cross-platform solutions - to stay ahead of the curve.
