To improve people’s lifestyle through physical, social and mental wellbeing, and protect them financially with insurance solutions.
While companies offer a range of perks other than salary to attract and retain the top talent, many of these go unused. Aside from needlessly costing companies money, it also means that employees can become demotivated and look to other companies that they feel meet their needs more closely. Vitaance, a Spanish startup, aims to solve this problem with a platform offering life insurance and wellbeing perks that employees will want to use.
Other startups exist in the employee benefits space (think Fringe or Gusto for example), but Vitaance is unique in its focus on gamifying its lifestyle and wellbeing perks. This has led to a huge success rate in the companies where it has been used, with 80% of its members using its wellness functions each month. This effectiveness has seen Vitaance's platform adopted by WeWork, KAYAK and Kindred among many other employers seeking to better incentivise their employees.
Vitaance will use its funding to recruit additional talent, develop its product and prepare for international expansion. It has long term goals to scale its product to compete with French, German and UK companies in the market, aiming for 7.5 million users by 2026. If its run of recent success continues, it is poised to develop into a significant business in this sector.
