Our take
A recent study has found that desk workers spend an average of 1,700 hours a year sitting at their laptop or computer, leading to musculoskeletal issues, eye strain, and tiredness. Moreover, a different study has found that 60% of employees reported pain associated with a musculoskeletal issue at any moment. Employers are thus legally required to provide employees with safe working environments, but the solutions currently implemented are usually superficial, with no real impact on employees' wellbeing.
Vitrue VIDA is a startup that solves this problem by using cutting-edge technologies developed with surgeons and professional athletes to enable early detection of musculoskeletal conditions and to provide desk workers with personalised treatment.
